Berlin

Berlin has one of the variegated nightlife in a metropolis. It offers an all-round program; everybody is invited- old, young, from punk, pop, hip till classic. Everybody can find something for his liking.

Before midnight you can eat in all different kind of restaurants –inside or outside (of course depending on the season), enjoy concerts or musical, theatres, ballet or operas.

After 12 o´clock the clubbing is beginning. Then the diversity of nightlife is showing up. You can find bars, clubs or pubs everywhere. In Berlin you have lots of choices and they are not located at the Downtown, they are everywhere over the whole city spread, but luckily the underground system is still running well at night – thanks the BVG.

In the Theater des Westens you can enjoy “Der Schuh des Manitu”, a very funny entertainment musical, or the Theater at the Potsdamer Platz bewitchs you with Dirty Dancing and their rhythm. Also the Blue man group is located at the Bluemax Theater at the Potsdamer Platz

The theater “Die Wühlmäuse” or the Grips-theater are very famous here in Berlin. Concerts or sport events are located at the O2-Arena or at the Olympiastadion. Something different is at the Waldbühne, where they show open air acts, or just the many cinemas can make a veneing special. All different kind of cultural likings get hit here in Berlin.

You can find the best location for the nightlife for example in the trendy district Friedrichshain, Mitte or at the Hackesche Markt. At the east you can go to the Schönhauser Allee, there you can enjoy especially in the summer the series of bars with chairs outside, drinks, people from all over the world– go and just feel the atmosphere.

On the Strasse des 17.Juni you will find all the year round different kinds of events, when the whole street is just open for walkers, surrounded by shops and booth.

The clubs are not closing before morning – so there is no sleeping in Berlin.

The best thing ever is a warm croissant after a club night, walking barefoot down the “Unter den Linden” and relish the morning sun.

The “Watergate” in Friedrichshein next to the Oberbaumbrücke is a special club – dancing over the roofs of Berlin and just enjoying the view at the Spree with techno music.

In the summer you can get the best open air feeling at the “Club der Visionäre” direct at the water with a terrace outside and nice drinks.

The Fritz Club at the Ostbahnhof has also a remarkable program or for those who want to enjoy Caribbean feeling can go to the Reggae-Club Jaaam next door.

And in the summer you can almost forget that you are in a city. Distributed at the Spree watersides you will find lots of beach bars with volleyball fields, water and beach chairs.

Under the starry sky the cocktail tastes much better. The beach bar at the Bundespressestrand is always well-attended and so mostly crowed, but if you get a chair, it is it worth and maybe you see some well-heeled celebrity. Also there are the Monbijou in Mitte or one next to the lido Wannsee.

All in all Berlin offers so much, that the decision is the hardest part of the night.
