‘em Bar’ is located at Gabriel-Max-Str. 17 in Friedrichshain very close to the popular Simon-Dach-Strasse. It is a very nice place to spend an evening with your friends enjoying a delicious cocktail. This bar has a big choice of drinks and cocktails. There is a happy hour from 5:30pm to 8pm.

This location is also very recommendable for the nice terrace outside the bar with a view at Boxhagener Platz and its polite service. It is a place where you can dine at the same time. If you like to snack during your visit, they offer you many different tasty meals.

Hoppetosse

It is the location which makes this club truly unique. ‘Hoppetosse’ is a very old ship from 1920 placing at the waterside on the “Spree”. This place is not only a clubbing boat, it is also a restaurant from Monday through Thursday. Then the clubbing nights start until Sunday. The club offers you different styles of music. It depends on the organizer. The music specialises in reggae, salsa to house or electro.
The boat has three decks with two dance floors, at each one bar. At warm nights you can enjoy the wonderful view over Berlin from the roof-deck.
You will find this place at Eichenstr. 4 in Treptow. It will take you just few minutes walk from the S-Bahn transit ‘Treptower Park’ .

Shisha Bar Alarabi

This place is located at Krossaner Str. 19. It is just few minutes walk from the popular Simon-Dach-Strasse in Friedrichshain. This bar is not only recommendable for its big variety of cocktails, it has a nice menu of Arabian food, too. The interior design of this place is very cosy, especially at night with its warm colours on the walls and candle light on the tables and terrace. Then you can sit outside and enjoy your drink with a smoke from the water pipe called hookah or shisha. The shisha has many different flavours. You can choose from apple, banana to melone and mango and so on. ‘Alarabi ‘ has a happy hour from 3pm till 9pm, not only for cocktails but also for the sisha. That means you pay only 4.50,-euro, which is really a low price for this special bar and a nice place to spent a wonderful relaxed evening.

‘il barista’ is a cosy place where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast or spent a little bit of your afternoon time to have a good coffee. It is a very nice place with old sofas and armchairs on Gabriel-Max-Str. 18 in Friedrichshain. They also offer you some other snacks, for example soups, omelettes or paninis which you should try for sure. They are very tasty! You can choose between different sorts of French lemonade, too, for example the grapefruit lemonade.
This place is very recommendable for its unique appearance and the good quality of food and drinks with its low prices.

Lunas Strandgarten

Lunas Strandgarten is a beach bar in Friedrichshain on Revalerstr. 34. It is the best place to spent nice warm evenings or nights. You can relax and enjoy your cocktail with your bare feet in the sand with cosy music in the background. For more active people, the location offers you a space where you can play beach- volleyball with your friends. You can even celebrate birthday parties with a big barbecue which you can bring with you.
Lunas Strandgarten have a big program for you from Friday through Sunday with different life bands and DJs. The atmosphere is very nice. It makes you feel like being on vacation.

This is the sweetest store ever! It is a very charming little place which is located at Krossaner Str.12, close to the well- known Simon-Dach-Straße in Friedrichshain. It a perfect place to enjoy your coffee with the most delicious homemade cupcakes in Berlin. They have them in a big variety of flavours, from vanilla to coconut or carrot with all sorts of frosting on the top. In this shop you can also get breakfast and typical American drinks and sweets. The interior décor is white and pink, which makes this shop so sweet and at the same time so unique. ‘Cupcake’ opens from Wednesday through Sunday from 11am to 7pm.

This location is not only a cool bar to hang out with your friends in the evenings,

it is also a nice place to sit outside and enjoy a good cup of coffee during the day hours. It is a perfect place to warm up for a night of dancing at the weekends. The DJ’s play nice sounds, from soul to house and electro.

The place offers you comfortable interior design with a gallery of paints on the walls which you can buy, too. The drinks are very tasty and the prices fair. You will find ‘Sanatorium’ at the Frankfurter Allee 23 in Friedrichshain.

Curry 36

One of the best ‘imbiss’, or snack bars, in Berlin is “Curry 36”. It is really famous in Berlin for its ‘curry-wurst’ with french fries and its self-made curry ketchup, which is made with secret ingredients. If you are lucky, you need only to wait 15 minutes to get served! It is not uncommon to see a line of customers waiting in the early morning for service. Yes, Curry 36 is that famous in Berlin! I recommend it, if you feel like having something typical Berlin and you have a little free time on your hand.

Istoria is an Italian-Mediterranean restaurant which is known locally for its great stone-oven pizzas. The pizza crust is thin and amazingly crispy! Plus, the toppings are always fresh! I highly recommend my favourite pizza called , on the menu, the Lucculus. It comes with fresh tomatoes, rocket-salad, spicy salami and parmesan. Be sure not to overlook the rest of the menu, as the selection of steaks, pasta, salads and desserts, is equally as good as that of the pizzas. The restaurant is located at Kollwitzplatz, across from a busy playground. So, a tip to those wishing to have a quite meal: you should request a table inside.

Parkcafe – A nice little place to eat something and to spend a few hours talking with friends. The food is ok, the prices as well – it doesn’t get more exciting than that. But that’s actually the great thing about this place: it’s not about being seen, it’s just a nice place to meet for drinks and food.
